Sorta like a poor man's Darkness (or a grown-up Weezer), the Electric Six are plump with hooks thanks to their unusual, homemade, glammy electro-metal thang. Their most recent Flashy is equal parts Tom Jones swank and Meat Loaf stomp. A bit less focused on the electro bits, the disc does contain lots of horns, keyboard boogie rock, and even a follow up to their viral video hit, "Gay Bar," entitled . . . "Gay Bar, Pt. 2." With Living Things.
