RAT TALE

Your worst nightmare, face to furry face

If you're without reading material while waiting for the train, the next best option is to look down below and see what the rodents are up to. For the most part, it's not pleasing to the eye—though the Brooklyn Historic Railway Association begs to differ. Rat Art: Reinventing the Rodent takes you deep down the Atlantic Avenue Tunnel on an "art walk," of sorts. Equipped with your boots and flashlight, you'll come across several rat-inspired art pieces hanging on the tunnel walls, featuring local artists Jessica Murphy, Nicole Murphy, Salehe Bembury, and Ian Nettleton. We just hope there's a Purell shower waiting at the other end. Meet outside Trader Joe’s at the corner of Atlantic Avenue and Court Street
