For the most part, it's not pleasing to the eye—though the Brooklyn Historic Railway Association begs to differ. Rat Art: Reinventing the Rodent takes you deep down the Atlantic Avenue Tunnel on an "art walk," of sorts. Equipped with your boots and flashlight, you'll come across several rat-inspired art pieces hanging on the tunnel walls, featuring local artists Jessica Murphy, Nicole Murphy, Salehe Bembury, and Ian Nettleton.
