PopRally presents its latest decadent art party
MOMA's ginormous Marron Atrium will finally achieve its true calling as an oasis wonderland when PopRally presents its latest museum party, featuring a special performance by artist-musician Gavin Russom's Black Meteoric Star and international multimedia collective assume vivid astro focus(avaf). Attendees will experience a hybrid of multimedia madness as Russom blends techno and house into his psychedelic arrangements while avaf provides the vibrant visuals (apparently strobe lights, a smoke machine, and lasers are involved). To complete the surreal experience, everyone gets a limited-edition mask to be worn during the party. Russom and avaf's work can also be seen in the new exhibition, Compass in Hand.
