Holy Fuck+A Place to Bury Strangers+Crocodiles

Their expletive-ridden name was a justification for Canadian arts funding cuts (yep, it really happened), but Toronto electronica outfit Holy Fuck just wants to rock out. Helmed by local hero Brian Borcherdt (formerly of By Divine Right), their divergent brand of house music—a little tribal, a lot spacey art-prog—has garnered press accolades and many WTF opening slots (Slint?), resulting in an incendiary live show. A well-matched accompaniment by the similarly inclined A Place To Bury Strangers and San Diego garage-rockers Crocodiles makes this one for the dance rave history books.
