The Mets prepare to clobber the Nationals

The most talented team in the National League (or, at the very least, in the NL East) takes on the most untalented (or, at least, the one with the worst pitching). Celebrate Memorial Day by watching the Mets' Reyes, Wright, Beltran, Delgado, and company pound the Nationals. We'll take a bet right now that they'll score a minimum of 10 runs. As we go to press, there are tons of tickets available. Your best bet at getting a bargain would be StubHub, close to game day, but allow time to get your tickets. Or skip the stadium and spend the ticket money on a really good Italian meal, surrounded by Mets lovers at Pine Restaurant of Queens (3710 114th Street, Flushing, 718-672-1200). Our personal favorite, the linguini with white clam sauce, is a big step up from hot dogs.
