Love Is All

Nothing says '80s punk and new wave like a sax solo: X-Ray Spex, Adam & the Ants, Siouxsie. Swedes Love is All's very signature quasi-'80s sound, in large part, is shaped by the sax! But full style-cred goes to spastic frontwoman/keyboardist Josephine Olausson and her emphatic shout-sing, as well as drummer Markus Görsch's adrenalized disco-punk beats. Don't let the retro-influences fool ya: These guys are forward thinking like an arty synch-up between Madness, X-Ray Spex, and the Clean. Dig the lo-fi, reverb-fettered, little-girl-fell-down-the-well vocals.
