So, the director of both Hellboy flicks, Hellraiser's Pinhead, and Spike from Buffy walk into a bar . . . no, actually, a convention center. OK, honestly, this is not a joke. Fangoria's Weekend of Horrors Convention hosts a slew of actors, directors, writers, makeup artists, and general freaks from everyone's favorite scary movies, including Hellboy director Guillermo del Toro, filmmaker Tobe Hooper (of Texas Chain Saw Massacre fame), Italian director Dario Argento, a couple of Jasons, and the original Pinhead. The three-day frightfest also features writing and filmmaking workshops, costume contests, and a vampire ball. Fake blood not included.
