When he's not scoring films (including David Gordon Green's Snow Angels) as Jeff McIlwain, Lusine makes raggedly smooth minimalism. As evinced by his recent Moondagger, Deastro creates eccentric indie electro-pop that appeals at least as much to fans of Grizzly Bear as of Audion. Michna's chrome-dripped, tropicalia-tinged sounds and Mike Servito's able DJ-ing joyfully rep the label's East Coast contingent.
