Dinosaur Jr.

Given how cool J. Mascis made it not to care, generally speaking, in the '80s and '90s with slacker-core heroes Dinosaur Jr., it's still one of the music world's natural wonders just how ambitious he really is. The reunited original lineup of that band just released their second album in three years (in and around the release schedule of Mascis's stoner metal band, Witch) and, luckily for his fans, it's actually on par with their best albums. With animated punky openers Screaming Females.
