Who doesn't wish they could go back in time for a peek inside Andy Warhol's glamorous tin foil-covered Factory? Thankfully Stephen Shore, who was a regular at the Factory as a teenager before becoming a pioneer of color photography, was there to capture it for us. His exhibit The Velvet Years at 303 Gallery is a collection of gorgeous black-and-whites from the mid '60s, right around the time Warhol was managing the Velvet Underground, whose 1967 debut The Velvet Underground and Nico is one of the most influential rock records of all time. Among the photographs on display, you'll see Edie Sedgwick shimmying in a unitard, a tortured Nico chewing her hand, and Warhol looking fabulous under his puffy "Silver Clouds."
