Parts & Labor+Child Bite+Fiasco+Big Bear

Bushwick gets cranked to 11 with offerings from these fine and glitchy experimental bands. Headliners Parts & Labor are an exercise in how to make form from the blips and bleeps of electronic noise, and support is given from Detroit's Child Bite, a frenetic punk band aided by the schizo-falsetto of founder Shawn Knight. (Look out for the joystick/theremin solos.) Boston's Big Bear, whose female lead singer echoes the same dreamy prog leanings as Ponytail, will be ably complemented by Brooklyn's Fiasco, a child prodigy punk band who recently backed London punk icons the Homosexuals. Can you handle it? Just remember that everybody's free (to wear sunscreen).
