Zizek, Buenos Aires's most vital club and record label, imports its searing mix of hip hop, reggaeton, dancehall, and yes, cumbia, to the afterparty for the Latin Alternative Music Conference. Gaby Kerpel has a long resume in jazz-rock bands and experimental multimedia theater including De la Guarda and Fuerzabruta; as King Coya, he's a Zizek favorite. Zizek cofounder El G comes straight off his Central Park show with Juana Molina, and Uproot Andy represents the locals.
