Hunter is way cool: She's a great songwriter whose albums come out on Devendra Banhart's Gnomonsong label, she's one of the most underrated on the neo-folk scene, and a few years back, she even did an East Coast tour by sailboat—one gig was on a boat on the Gowanus Canal. Her predominantly acoustic guitar-driven tunes are sparse, meditative, and eerie yet playful. This show should be with her backing band. With Inoculist and Virgin Forest.
