HANG IN THERE

Bungee through an urban odyssey

Galapagos regulars Suspended Cirque must have ants in their pants or something: For their latest piece, Urbanopolis, the aerial theater troupe literally climbs the walls and uses all of Galapagos's nifty features, like cavernous fly space and a pool below and in front of the seats. The action concerns a young man who tries to get home from a steel-filled futuristic city and meets all sorts of creepy entities along the way, like a living mechanical doll, a violin-playing phoenix, chained women, and an acrobatic theater company. Wait—not creepy, awesome!
Fridays, 8 p.m.; Saturdays, 3 p.m.; Sundays, 7:30 p.m. Starts: Aug. 14. Continues through Aug. 16, 2009
