The award-addled, incredibly prolific, and freakin' adorable young playwright Bekah Brunstetter is making her Off-Broadway debut with OOHRAH!at the Atlantic, and we're just tickled! A recent perusal of her blog (blog.bekahbrunstetter.com) shows that she has a penchant for retro dresses, bacon-topped cookies, and, of course, making plays. Her latest concerns a pair of sisters who live near one of the largest Marine bases in the South, and the events that transpire when they meet one particularly attractive military man. If the play is as deserving of the buzz as we expect, all eyes will be on Brunstetter for a long time to come. Evan Cabnet directs.
