DRACULA’S FRIENDS

Fun you can sink your teeth into

Attention, all Twilightand True Blood fans: The world’s first vampire museum, the Museum of Vampyric Artifacts (MoVa), has arrived in New York. And if you notice the displays are starting to move, that’s because . . . gulp . . . they are. The MoVa is actually the home of the new haunted house experience Nightmare: Vampires, created by downtown’s master of gore Timothy Haskell, who has been putting on the scariest haunted houses in the city for the past six years. Note: As the bloodthirsty vampires of the museum aim “to scare the most fearless adult,” children under 12 are not permitted without adult supervision. The second ghoulish offering this year is “Nightmare 666,” a black-magic show featuring a variety of sacrifices—human sacrifices, that is. Cue evil laughter.
