SPAIN’S FINEST

Penélope Cruz and Pedro Almodóvar discuss their latest

Reminiscing about the first time he worked with Penélope Cruz on 1997’s Live Flesh, the Spanish director Pedro Almodóvar told the New York Times, “I remember that our biggest problem was how to make her look ugly. Tonight, hear what they have to say about their long working relationship and friendship at this TimesTalk. New York Times Magazineeditor-at-large Lynn Hirschberg moderates the discussion.
