Saul Williams

Quadruple threat Saul Williams—a musician, poet, actor, and writer—always makes for a compelling frontman, when he feels like being a rock star for a little bit. And since his music, which has lately been a unique take on industrial and hip-hop (his last album, The Inevitable Rise and Liberation of Niggy Tardust!, was produced by none other than Trent Reznor), requires a sort of dynamic, larger-than-life personality, he usually leans on his other disciplines to sell it. After all, you have to have a strong spine to even speak an album title like that. With Rough Francis, Krak Attack, and Activator.
