Brooklyn's Wild Yaks are sheer scream exuberance. Following suit, gospel outfit Blood Warrior (the side project of O'Death's Greg Jamie), freak folk brother/sister duo This Frontier Needs Heroes and gothic Appalachians Beat Circus are a veritable cross-section of Americana, at a venue known for letting patrons scrawl their feelings on the walls.
