Justice (DJ set)

Perhaps you should model your Halloween costume after Albert Brooks in Broadcast News, as tonight's DJ set by French technicians Justice is going to drench you in sweat. While 2007’s was originally conceived as an "opera disco album," the zeitgeist ran with killer singles "D.A.N.C.E." and "Waters of Nazareth," ignoring deeper cuts such as "Tthhee Ppaarrttyy," in which Ed Banger mate Uffie riffs like Roxanne Shante. Never ones for subtlety, the cataclysm of Justice's strobe synths, robo-house beats, and Parisian hauteur (yes, they smoke cigarettes onstage) ought to be enough for your Halloween pre-game, since you'll be dancing to their remixes the next night anyway, professing digital love.
