Erring, always, on the side of ironic detachment, their latest record, Art Brut vs. Satan, got the magic touch from producer Frank Black, as Argos speech-sings his diccontent over AA, Peter Pan syndrome, and crappy summer jobs. It's mixed with an energetic novelty even the Hives can't muster.
