The story of John Singer, a deaf man, and the people of a small Southern mill town who confide in him soared to the top of the bestseller lists. Now it comes to the stage in this new adaptation by Rebecca Gilman. Pulitzer and Tony winner Doug Hughes directs this production co-presented by the Acting Company and New York Theatre Workshop.
