Dir. Kim Ki-young (1960).
An outré figure with affinities to Luis Buñuel and Sam Fuller, Kim began his career at the center of South Korea's film industry and doggedly worked his way toward the margins. Hanyo (The Housemaid), was his greatest hita sordid succubus story that starts at a fever pitch and accelerates, seemingly directed in a state of psychosexual frenzy.
