BLOOD SUCKERS

We're into biting, but a support group for vampires? Come on!

On the eve of The Twilight Saga: New Moon release, all the Kristen Stewart–, Robert Pattinson–, and Taylor Lautner–obsessed freaks (yes, we include ourselves in this group) can celebrate their favorite bloodsuckers at a range of events around town. Tonight, rejoice among other addicts at the New Moon Party, where you'll be able to test your Twilight knowledge with a trivia session and suck on vampire cocktails. Tomorrow, the Paley Center kicks off an entire weekend of vampire-related talks and screenings (including Robsessed, the documentary on Pattinson's rabid fan base). And if you really find that your Twilight obsession is interfering with leading a normal life, we suggest you rush over to the Twihards Anonymous: A Meeting of Twilight Addicts. Here, in "a supportive environment," fans will be able to attempt to free themselves of Twilight pains—but, as the organizers put it, "There's no rush to quit the Cullen-crack." Party tonight at 8:30, Vintage Irving, 118 East 15th Street, 212-677-6300, free; Dark Shadows at Twilight: A Paley Center Vampire Weekend, Friday through Sunday, Paley Center, 25 West 52nd Street, paleycenter.org, $10; Twihards Anonymous at midnight Saturday, Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre, 307 West 26th Street, 212-366-9176, free
Thu., Nov. 19, 8:30 p.m., 2009
