Jack Rose+Chris Forsyth+Corridors

Tonight three excellent, and predominantly acoustic-based, axe-slingers explore the intersection of the guitar and the drone. Philly-based Rose has carved out a name for himself as one of the finest and most innovative U.S. finger-style players, smartly melding John Fahey's sun-drenched blues and ragtime with Davey Graham's raga-chasing Moroccan flavors. Brooklyn's Forsyth explores six-string moods that have one foot on post-rock minimalism and the other on psych folk (dig his 12-string stuff!) and Corridors (also local to Brooklyn), whose audio-visual work blends ambient guitar-feedback with trippy light show visuals.
