Don't call The Eternal a comeback—they've been here for years. Mid-period fans are happy that they've gotten a hard sound again, even if it doesn't (thankfully) copy their supposed late '80s/early '90s prime. In any case, on stage, they've never been known for holding back the guitar screams, triple digit BPMs, or 30-minute versions of "Expressway To Yr Skull." Kindred spirits Dinosaur Jr. should also nicely test out your earplug of choice. And if you need a fix of dance/goth, show up early for Cold Cave.
