Along with their unique name (meaning a family of Indian languages), these Brooklynites also sport an unique lineup: One of 'em toured with Albert Hammond, Jr., one of 'em leads a jazz group, and the others work as engineers. The music's hardly a mish-mash, though—a nice, low-key variety of indie rock that owes more to Bowie and Interpol than to the Strokes.
