What a trunk show. In this new one-man show, Saul Jaffe plays Joseph Merrick, the pachydermous patient who became a sensation in Victorian London. The play details Merrick’s bumpy life, from pauper, to freak show performer, to medical curiosity, using “burlesque, new circus and physical theater.”
