Fresh off their triumphant Central Park show, Phoenix and Passion Pit team up for another round. Local boys Passion Pit have their star rising now, and with good reason—it's not just the nice dancey pop rhythms they come up with but also Michael Angelakos's lithe vocals and tunes. French lads Phoenix have also been blowing up thanks to their latest power pop creation that name-checks Mozart and a terrible Who-related movie about another composer.
