When deciding on a costume for the Bowie Ball, the first question to ask is: “Which David Bowie do you want to be?” From Ziggy Stardust to Jareth the Goblin King, every persona that “the thin white duke” has taken on from 1964 until now will be at Bowie Ball, exuding every ounce of Bowie divaness (Adam Lambert wannabes stay out!). The lineup to this year’s ball is a bit chaotic—as it should be—and includes performances by Kevin Aviance, Bridget Everett, Miss Guy, and burlesque stars Miss Saturn & the Daisy Spurs, fashion shows, seven DJs, glam makeovers and, of course, the costume contest. We’re going as Iman!
