Isabella Rossellini is best known for her work as a model (she has graced the cover of Vogue 23 times) and in films including Blue Velvet and Death Becomes Her. So, it’s a little shocking to see such a graceful beauty don colorful insect costumes and playfully act out the sex lives of bugs in Green Porno, her amusing series of short videos for the Sundance Channel (curiously, for some reason, she always plays the male). Tonight, to promote her series, which is in its third season, the 57-year-old star comes to Greenpoint, Brooklyn, for this screening and discussion. Free truffle popcorn will be provided by Coco 66 for the screening, and everyone will get a copy of the book Green Porno, which comes with a DVD.
