There isn’t much for New York Rangers fans to cheer about now, but it’s worth coming to the Garden to see Marian Gaborik, who’s leading the team in both points and goals. Good news for the locals is that the Detroit Red Wings’ star defenseman Niklas Kronwal and anywhere from two to four key players may be out with injuries, so it looks like a good opportunity for the Rangers to get something going. If you don’t want to deal with the crowds, you can root against the Red Wings while munching on red wings: Blondie’s now has two locations—East and West Side—and their wings (served “mild to ouch”) are some of the best in Manhattan (212 West 79th Street or 1770 Second Avenue).
