Honor the spirit of John Lennon

If you don’t believe in the Beatles, you probably still believe in John—for the love he had for New York, for his messages of peace equaled only by his acts of rebellion. Lennon died on December 8, 1980, and the 29th Annual John Lennon Tribute honors his immense legacy and catalog with performances from the Kennedys, Bettye LaVette, Joan Osborne, and more; the Symphony Space tradition is curated via independent fundraising and promotions by Theatre Within, an experimental arts presentation company, and benefits the United Mitochondrial Disease Foundation this year. Be sure to pay your respects; as a wise man once said, “There’s nowhere you can be that isn’t where you’re meant to be.”
