With all due respect to Eric Clapton, it's with good reason that Todd Terry's fans call him "God." He's one of the locals who shaped dance music in the late '80s, and, with the possible exception of a brief flirtation with drum and bass, he's never lost his touch. Borrowing equally from Chicago acid and New York hip-hop, he helped define U.S. house, and ended up remixing pretty much every remotely danceable '90s artist in the process. With residents Eman, Lola, and DJ Spider.
