MONEY TALKS, BULLSHIT WALKS

You know the words. Now it's time to sing them.

Earlier this year, we made our way uptown to the Beacon to see real musical champions perform without the mullets, makeup, and '80s glam-rock garb—and we sure as hell aren't talking about KISS. Michael McKean, Harry Shearer, and Christopher Guest stood before us as their true selves, performing every non-hit from This Is Spinal Tap. Now, at tonight's This Is Spinal Tap Sing-Along, you can join the most awesome faux-band ever—David St. Hubbins, Derek Smalls, and Nigel Tufnel—in singing such brilliant, moving lyrics as "Working up a hot sweat/Crouching in your pea patch/Plowing through your bean field/Planting my seed." As Smalls puts it, rock and roll is "more like going to a national park or something. And there's, you know, they preserve the moose. And that's, that's my childhood up there on stage. That moose."
