The year started on a high note: Our newly elected president was going to revolutionize our nation! (Or at least get a hold of our abysmal economy and job market.) But if you have the sinking feeling that things went from bad to worse in 2009, you’re not alone. The Upright Citizens Brigade crew is honoring everything that blew chunks this year with the 2009 IT SUCKED! Awards. Those who should receive high honors at this prestigious, nonformal event include the Grim Reaper (who took many of our beloved celebs during the Summer of Death), the Gosselins, Octomom, Balloon Boy, Tiger Woods, the Salahis . . . we could go on and on. Here’s hoping 2010 brings much-needed peace. And Britney, we miss you! Come back to us!
