With its rotating tableau of lo-fi bands, dumpster-dive politics, and crammed-in crust-core living conditions, the freegan collective at 13 Thames in Bushwick is, by itself, a theater of the absurd. (It even says LOLZ above the front door.) On January 3rd, Ben Turk's radical Insurgent Theatre company will join the parade, performing Turk's own post-terror one-act Ulysses' Crewmen, amid a bill of darkly vibrating electro-noiseniks, including John Fell Ryan of Excepter, Todd Brooks' stellar chaos*CM*majik, the contact mic jammers Towering Heroic Dudes, and the insectasoid fuzz of Opponents.
