At this stop on Canadian metal reprobates Anvil's victory-lap tour, they'll be presenting "The Anvil Experience": a screening of the group's heartrending documentary, Anvil! The Story of Anvil, about their 21-year history as a headbanging also-ran (don't worry, it ends well—you just have to uncomfortably endure watching frontman Lipps ask his sister for money), followed by the group performing a triumphant, in-the-flesh concert of the songs you just heard throughout the film. It's like Spinal Tap, an Ibsen play, and a Raymond Carver story summarized over the course of an evening.
