'Dub War Present Instra:mental & Vaccine'
Like a lot of London drum & bass heads, the duo known as Instra:mental have been slipping into dubstep of late—what's more unusual is that they let a love of pop shine through in their productions. They're not just throwing vocal bits over their beats, either, but conjoining song and bass in a joyful bounce worthy of Apple Pips, the newer label from envelope-pushing Skull Disco's Appleblim. Newcomer Christine Vaccine premiers her work for Hotflush, Offshore, and NonPlus+. With residents Joe Nice, Dave Q, and Incyde.
