Ladycop

The indie rock sound is born, then dies, then gets boring, then is born again, and then maybe it learns a dead language in Europe or something. In Brooklyn, it's like lines on pavement. Ladycop is of this cycle—born from two dudes' old bands, blended with some laptoppin' and 'lectronics, and featuring both boy and girl singers, the band could be owners of an indie rock starter kit. Good thing there are numerous live shows and some promising material to back up a band name that's admittedly great, but also hits "restart" on the whole bit. With Grandfather, Linfinity, and Boston transplants Appomattox.
