NYU takes on Emory University
Catch up with college hoops tonight as both NYU's men and women's teams are in action against the Emory University Eagles. The NYU Violets are enjoying a winning season, with the men 10-2 and the ladies 8-4 as we go to press. The women have a strong 2-0 showing in NYU's New Year's Classic, with 12 of the 13 Violets scoring and Grace Carmen and Chrissy Kilmurray earning spots for the Violets on the All-Tournament Team. The men are shooting as high as 63.5 percent (33 for 52) in a recent game against Wesleyan and enjoying a rebounding advantage in most games. Watch for Andy Stein, who recently beat his career high with a 17-point first half in that game. The women tip off at 6, followed by an 8 p.m. start for the men.
