The political activist Gloria Steinem and model Beverly Johnson were both groundbreaking pioneers in the feminist movement: One battled for women's rights by being vocal on the main stage, while the other fought with her breathtaking looks, becoming one of the first black models to grace the covers of fashion magazines.
