The artist formerly known as Baby Hec Romero is at the heart of NY underground house. Drawing on the Latin and hip-hop sounds of the block parties of his Bronx youth, he plays a dark, soulful vocal house as a Def Mix ambassador (and on his Def Mix radio podcasts), and now he's bringing similar work to the SAW label alongside Satoshi Tomiie. With residents Sleepy & Boo and guests Ed Zang and Ara & Becka.
