I'm a big fan of Contra, but if it's latter-day indie-dude approximations of Paul Simon's Graceland you're still after, you might do better to hit up last year's self-titled debut by this electro-folk side project of local singer-songwriter Luke Temple; it strikes an uncommonly delicate balance between airy and rhythmic. Here We Go Magic recently signed to Secretly Canadian, which will release the band's sophomore set later this year. With Midnight Masses and Glass Ghost.
