Tonight is the return of the annual series Poems and Pints—and, really, we can't think of anything else that goes better with poetry than a frosty brew (OK, poems and vodka, would work. Or poems and warm chocolate-chip cookies?). The first installment features two acclaimed poets: Molly Peacock, who has published six collections of poetry and is one of the creators of the Poetry in Motion program (i.e., those poems you read in the subway when you don't want to stare at your fellow passengers), and Terese Svoboda, who has five books of poetry, has been published in The Paris Review, Tin House, and The New Yorker, to name a few, and is the author of the award-winning memoir Black Glasses Like Clark Kent. The series continues on the first Tuesday of the month through April 6.
