Rockers across both rivers converge

Shellshag pride themselves on being "Resilient Bastards" on next month's Rumors in Disguise, and they certainly show respectable fortitude for sluffing around the Jersey scene so much; they're by far the most melodic rockers on Kingston's Don Giovanni Records, content to send up messy '70s stadium riffs with flighty sing-song garnish. They headline a laundry list of boisterous rockers tonight, including Screaming Females, JEFF the Brotherhood, and forgetters, the new-ish project from Jawbreaker wimpcore emperor Blake Schwarzenbach.
