Let the New Year finally begin with some cosmic style at Brooklynite Gallery's first exhibition of 2010, Stealth: Artists Above the Radar. The show highlights two pop art surrealists from opposite ends of the world: Collin Van Der Sluijs, a native of the Netherlands and a specialist in mixed media, who will be showcasing his latest paintings of bizarre animal/human space creatures, and Houston-born abstract artist Derek Shumate, who'll show off his layered, multicolored graphic designs that blend headline news with the artist's fertile imagination.
