Springsteen's favorite techno artist is now back out on the road alone after performing remixes for all the cool bands out there and collaborating with drummer Steve Reid. His fifth album in a decade shows him to be coming up a little short on catchy, melodic hooks but part of that is because of the ridiculously high standards he set for himself with his last two records. None of this should bother the late-night crowd who marvel at his exotic, other worldly soundscapes late into the school night. With Nathan Fake.
