It's anyone's guess as to why it's taken so long for big-room deciders to book this powerhouse performer, but the egregious oversight is now rectified. Maye's in her 80s but singing with the same fervor and fun she exhibited when she started out over 70 years ago as a precocious radio kid. Check to see if it's Tedd Firth or Billy Stritch at the keyboards; either will be swell.
