QQQ captures the essence of contemporary Norwegian string-band music and twists it into delightfully unexpected new shapes. Consisting of Dan Trueman on Hardanger fiddle, his guitarist wife Monica Mugan, violist Beth Meyers, and her So Percussion-member hubby Jason Treuting, QQQ turns out to be one of the more innovative, compositionally accomplished prog-folk ensembles to pop through the tundra in ages. Janus is a self-described "Debussy trio" of harp, flute, and viola who will perform new works by Caleb Burhans, Ryan Brown, Angélica Negrón, and others.
